I like mine but wish the offset wasn't +60. I run LT285/65/18. but will change to Lt 275/ 70/ 18 when the time comes. I've been looking at after market wheels but haven't found anything I really like and almost everything have fake beadlocks.

Are those rattle can finished 18" OEMs you have there @socalmtbiker ? Is your LX body color Blue Vapor? Trying to decide what color I should refinish mine in? I picked up some Rock Warriors and want to refinish them too.
Cheers mate,
G

I'm laughing. Should have known. I have KO2 on my LC200. Not my favorite rain, ice tire but great all round. We get a lot of 33 degree snow/slush with ice under and I just thought they were average. I live on a steep hill and once you hit the ice it was trouble. I put on dedicated snow tires this winter and I was unstoppable.
What snows did you buy @DesertFishing ?

This is an old picture- at the time this was plasti dipped black. Then plasti dipped metallic grey. Plasti dipped held up fine but brake dust would just stick to it. So I ended up using duplicolor metallic grey w/ clear. Yes it is blue vapor.
If you’re ok with cheap I’d do rattle can and can and you can do easy touch ups.

I was thinking of doing the 18" OEM wheels in Blue Vapor. Also thinking Blue Vapor for the inside portion of the Rock Warriors and doing the trim rings in the lower cladding color. Still in the investigation mode here.

Cheers for coming up on the net mate. Nicely done there Sir.

Nice plan.

Try-

I’ve used this for blue vapor on my mirrors. I think I put one too many coats and it was a touch darker but no one noticed but me.

HA! I just ordered a small bottle and some micro dabbers from these guys yesterday... Did you buy a can ready to spray? Great idea...
Cheers mate,

Yes, I bought the bonding spray for plastic, primer, paint and clear for the mirrors. When I did my wheels I just scuffed it with scotch bright pad painted and clear.

Is this a picture of the 285/65/18? Stock suspension? They look great. Why go up to 275/70/18?
Yes Lt 285/65r18. Stock ahc. 275/70r18 are actually cheaper. Depending on brand it may be $40 a tire cheaper or more. Also, based on tire calculator, the diameter is a true 33”. 285s are about 32.7” depending on brand.
