I worship my 2006 LX470 in every way...but one. The previous owner put a set of chrome plated aftermarket wheels on it and the chrome is flaking and bubbling...they need to go. The dealer quoted me an absolutely embarrassing price for a set of OEM wheels. Uh, no.

I've looked at aftermarket wheels (mostly at Tire Rack), but most of them are rather "blingey" to my eye.

I want to keep my (newish) Michelin tires 275/60/R18 so I'll need an OEM size wheel...18x8, 5x150 bolt pattern, 110mm centerbore, 60mm offset.

Suggestions?

Thanks,
Bob

I have an 06 lx as well and I really the stock 18" wheels that came with it. There are a load of good threads on here with tons of pics that you will find by using simple search terms. Also you might look in the classifieds section for oem take offs from others that have switched to after market wheels.

Thanks. I've been through most of the classifieds and haven't found the right set yet.

Tundra wheels are usually all over Craigslist and can be had for cheap. They look really good on 100s. Check out this thread:

Tundras do look good!!

Yes they do with JDM 2014 FJ cruiser rims on them

these would look killer on a 100 series

Those are 6-lug, 100 is 5 lug. 99% of the factory 2007+ Tundra wheels will fit a 100. I just purchased some Tundra Limited 20" and love the way they look. Front Hub Caps from Tundra wheels need some work. I dremeled my front hub caps to fit the grease cap on the front axles.

Buy wheels you like, sell ones you dont. Going through the same thing.

I love my OEM 18 wheels on my 06 LX470 wheels (in their original finish) :)
( I rarely see them posted in the classifieds but occasionally they to pop up)
A quick Internet search found these https://midwestwheelandtire.com/product/lexus-lx470-2005-2006-2007-74186h-alloy-wheel-rim

A neighbor has LC200 (5 spoke) wheels on his 100 series and they're fairly nice looking (but not quite as nice as what should've been on yours from the factory).
(I often see these pop up on mud classifieds and local craigslist ads)
May have to modify or find alternate hub caps to fit the caps over front hubs:

There are many more OEM LC200 and OEM Tundra wheels, that are the correct size/offset/lug pattern/bore size that are very commonly found on Internet classifieds for fairly cheap

You might want to look here for ideas:

People often have to work around hubcap issues with these wheels on the front hub.
Solutions I've seen wheel spacers, alternate 100 series hub caps, flattening grease caps, cutting holes in hub caps to allow grease caps to poke through, etc.

Thanks...this is exactly what I'm looking for. A bit spendy, but not a lot more than the third party wheels I've looked at. Will call on Monday to see if theyre still available. If not, I may consider the Tundra wheel option...I like the (close to) OEM look. Not crazy about having to screw around with front hub issues, but I've seen what others have done and I'd seriously consider it. Still, OEM strikes me as the best option.

6T7- Cypress Pearl. Its an off green.

That’s a gorgeous colol man!

I like the factory 18s but you may have to wait a while to score a good deal.

Now the other factory wheel was a nice split spoke 18 that looks great with the right tire.

@Bob Frame I have a set of 5 18” lx wheels like in the pictures above. I have a set of 16” Lx wheels I’m going to be putting on my 100 as soon as I find some 285’s. I prefer more sidewall.

If your not in a rush I can have them in waiting for you.
