My truck is coming together really nice. Very content with everything that we’ve done, but the steering ratio is painfully bad. Has anyone tried replacing the box with a quick ratio steering box?

It’s 1997 Lexus LX 450. I’m trying restore it to stock at the moment not looking for any upgrade for offloading only driving it around town down the road in a year or so I’ll think about adding a lift kit bigger wheels bumpers, etc. having driven sedans for the past 10 years, which were all 2010 and above I believe I’m used to having steering wheels with a high ratio now I’m having to turn the steering wheel at least 2 1/2 times around to make a U-turn, then someone advised that I should look into a quick ratio steering box. Is a 1997 after all so no complaints but if there is an option to upgrade, then I’d like to look into it.Maybe some more details on what kind of build you’re doing and what you’re trying to achieve. What’s bad about the steering ratio? It is a Land Cruiser after all. Just need a rebuilt box?
