I searched several combinations on this, but surprisingly didn't find what I was searching for.

I know several parts distributors (SOR, CCOT, etc.) sell a hard top restoration kit with replacement weather stripping. However, I am cheap :D and would like to know the less expensive route to weather strip my hard top. I am thinking about only weather stripping the top part of the windshield and the bottom part of the top, since I will be removing my top this spring.

What are your experiences with weather proofing your top? What works the best?

Thanks,

OE works best IMO. But if you are on the cheap, the CCoT works acceptable. i have had both.

Two areas I would highly ecommend going OE are the door weatherstripping and window channels.

If you are in B'ham look me up and I'll show you my set up.

Will do.

I am still trying to figure out whether or not the top will go on this winter. I have a garage and with the top on my truck it won't fit. :hhmm:
