Hard Top Seals

Eventually I will need some seals/weather stripping when I get my top painted and back together. I See CCOT has a kit for $75, is this a complete kit? Anyone ever try their stripping? Thanks.

Yes and its crap. Its hobbled together weatherstripping you can get at a parts store.

Like the door w-strip, buy the OE from Toyota. There is no substitute. I have bought both from them and not been pleased to say the least.

Not to bag on them but for the 1,000,000th time, everything I have ever bought from them has been a compromise.

I bought the same kit and I ended up having to cut it to fit my hardtop. The part that goes under the white fiberglass top did not line up correctly. I will not buy that kit again. I will be throwing it away the next time I take the top off and buying OEM. Best of luck, do it right the first time and go OEM, learn from my mistake

I ordered the ccot and was not happy with the roof seal (top to body) did not use it. Ended up using the original one that was a good fit.
