Not knowing what the PO did with this truck....

So this week I have done/replaced the following:

Cleaned Throttle body and replace TBP
New EGR
Cleaned Idle Speed Control
Tune up
Kick down cable adjusted
PVC valve
Air filter
Fuel Filter

Then I ran some of the toyota fuel injetor cleaner and have used up two tanks of gas in the last week (been on the road a lot!)

So here is the problem, Now I have to pump it several times to start, some time have to try twice, and I get two error codes 25 and 26. This all started right after I put in the cleaner.

I plan to clean the cold start injector in the am. What about the O2 censors - or do I just need to adjust the "Majic Screw"...

Hummm.... :)

Pull the spark plugs and check them. The cleaners might have knocked some carbon build up loose and fouled the plugs.

I don't know what those codes are though.

So I replaced the plugs, and cleaned the Cold start injector... was it dirty!

Plugs were not bad, but went ahead and replaced them, with Ngk.

The problem now only occurs when the truck is hot and has been driven for a hour or so. Could it be the O2 sensors? sounds like (2) is what the code is reading.

Here is what those codes say:

code 25

Air/Fuel ratio lean Malfunction

(1) When air-fuel ratio feedback compensation value or adaptive control value continues at the upper (lean) or lower (rich) limit.%#@& (2) When air-fuel ratio feedback compensation value or adaptive control value feedback frequency is abnormally high during feedback condition.%#@&

code 26

Air/Fuel ratio rich Malfunction

NOTE:%#@& For condition (2), neither a lean (Code #25) nor a rich (Code #26) diagnosis is displayed consecutively.

did you have the battery disconected?

Somewhat smells like a vacuum leak symptom. Did a hose get pulled loose or replaced/switched? I have had similar and found disconnected vacuum hoses. Be sure to check those hard to see places.

Its the 02 sensors. Fuel injector cleaner killed mine. I would get code 25/26 within 20 minutes of driving like clock work after I used injector cleaner. swapped in new ones and not a single code 25/26 in 7000 miles. OEM toyota O2 sensors(with a cruiserdan like discount) were cheaper than the aftermarket sources BTW

thanks, I went ahead and ordered O2 sensors, let you know how it turnes out.
I ordered the ones from oxygen sensor .com about 50$ cheaper and free shipping.
Guess I could of gone OEM - but every $ counts right now!
