Hard sound when shifting the gear

I own an LX470 1998, when i shift the gear from P to R or D i hear a sound and the car bounce a little bit, is that normal???

mine does the same thing occasionally, not too worried about it

if the clunk becomes a thud...worry.

I already took it for a look and they told me the gear shaft need to be greased.

But does it do that when your car is cold? Like seating for whole night ?
Cause if it’s that its not a big problem . so drive it for few minutes around the town, then put in park and put in D again , if it makes clunk noise that’s an issue . if not then you’re ok .
