To all you Dads out there. What does the family got planned today besides cards (the handmade ones are the best) and food for you?

I heard eggs benedict was going to be for breakfast at my house but I gotta wait for wife and 2 daughters to roll out of bed . Then go to my parents house to visit Dad this afternoon. Ill see if I can go find a gag gift tie thats obnoxious.

got some good food to cook , my present was a whale watching trip when we where in cal a couple of weeks ago! no whales, but got into a pod of common dolphins they where about 60 yards thick an as far as you could see in each direction the boat captin said there was 500 of them!! it was really cool

Went to Ben Avery and taught the kids the fine art of the bolt-action. They made a fine 2-man fire and spotting team. Made lots of holes in decently small groups at 100 yards. Made me proud! A fine day, indeed.

The wife and I and a friend from work went out and made some joyful noises in honor of the holiday. Think I'll take a scrap fender out there next time - the one that was already out there has a helluva lot of holes in it.

Getting the FJ60 to love going out on the dirt. Just gotta get some new steel rims and aggressive tires, rather than the street set it's currently riding on.

Hmm, apparently the nanny filter doesn't understand that the word "s-c-r-a-p" refers to an object that isn't any good anymore, and is not actually a 4 letter word with an additional "S" on the front. Jeez, this safe for everyone stuff is getting a little ridic......OOPS, I almost used a word in the middle of a word that could be misconstrued.

I let God wash my truck too! But I might have to help Him out this week. He doesn't rinse very well!
Spent Saturday going thru Turkey Creek, then up to Crown King to meet other Cruisers. It was a blast!
We went downtown to Whiskey Row on Sunday afternoon. I went with my wife and daughter, and some friends. We just wandered thru saloons and stores, buying junk, snacks and drinks. Sat on the grass, watching people pick their noses, had some dinner, the usual. Life is rough!
It's just great to have a weekend off. I am self employed, and my boss is a pain in the ass! I rarely get a break like this. It was great!
