Looking for a new vacuum pump. My old Sears Made in USA (that looks like every other China made vacuum/bleeder hand pump) is no longer holding vacuum. It will suck but not hold.

Looking and most all I find are the el-cheapo ones from China. Is there a good made vacuum pump for under $100 out there? OR do you just buy one and throw it away as needed?

Would like one with the vacuum gauge on it. It doesn't have to be a bleeder as I never used it as a bleeder.

no way to change the seals?

There is a seal on the plunger, not sure if that is the problem. It holds vacuum when I pull the lever but looses vacuum fast when I let the lever release. Where would get new seals?

I've been using a lower priced Mityvac than the one Joe listed, ca. $35 off Amazon. My use is for pulling water through a filter and it's been working well. It's easy to disassemble if needed and I guess the o-rings are replaceable.

Went with the white plastic Mityvac MV8000 from Harbor freight for under $30 with 25% off coupon. Hope it works.
