Most people use 2m only. It really depends on what you want to spend. I have the same Kenwood radio as Cee Fish and love it. I also have a 2m only Kenwood. It's ok but not as easy to use. Cumbersome to use, menus buried, etc. I also have a Yeasu FT-60 handheld with a magmount antenna. My other antennas are in the back. One on a fire stick mount and the other a door mount. Roof is always better but.....
