…worked quite smoothly this week. I got the approval link within a day. I don’t know exactly what’s different, but the attempt last winter to renew my GMRS license was so much of a mess that I let it lapse. Main problem was that the link between my FRN and my licenses never made it over to the payment page - that seems to be resolved now. On with the old HAM license, and with a fresh GMRS license. Now I really need to get cracking with putting GMRS radios in the trucks.

Renewing my amateur license in 2020 was a mess. Endless loops within .gov websites. I finally printed app and mailed in without a check, thinking I would respond the their denial.......I got my full license in 3 weeks.
