I Need to replace a rear sill, lowersections of all doors, holes in quarter panel and fenders.
I'm planing to make all the replacement parts and patches.
I've got zero bodywork experience, but plan to jump in running pretty soon.
might have to buy a cheapo harbor freight fcww or DC inverted stick welder.
A tech day sooner than later is better for me.

welders

Sam, i don't personaly own a welder but there are several in the club and there happens to be one in my garage right now.

I'm accepting all charity :)
I can put the front of the body back on to drive it to anyone's garage for the rear sill replacement and bring the doors and such too.
Limited to 115volt only in my garage though.

Sam i am up for helping and learning but i am not qualified to take the lead on such a project. We can use my garage if that helps out

Is there another tech day on the calendar?

I've got ambulance door patch panels :) and a heated place to host w/ 220v.

Anybody near DC have a torque wrench i can borrow for a couple hours next weekend? I have some new, custom lower control arms on the way and need it for the install.

Thanks,

Parker

anyone have a decent micrometer that i can borrow for an hour?
I lost access to all the cool precision instruments when i quit my job.
The home depot caliper i have is not measuring up.

I'm checking to see if my valve stem diameter is within spec.

*something precise and accurate enough to measure 0.0001" or 0.001mm
