Hey Gang, I'm here in Stuttgart and I have been in the office all waking hours since I arrived. That includes Saturday and today, and usually until about 11:30. So this trip isn't much fun.:frown:

This is a great place to see cars! Last night we saw a Ferarri F430 Spyder, guy almost pulled the front wheels off the ground. I've seen a few Defender 90 and 110, every Porsche and Mercedes imaginable, a white Audi R8, and all sorts of G-Wagens from pimped to pure utilitarian 3-doors/softtops.

I've seen one Cruiser, a 70-Series tow truck.:p

I miss my 80 and my wife but not the Raleigh heat & humidity. I hope you all had a fantastic 4th as well!!!!!
 
Hey Joe - hope your 4th was good as well. Now get back here and quit trotting the globe (said as I vape on my new strawberry :))

Brad, how's that going for you? Dude I was vaping in airports and on the plane most of the time, no issues. And vaping non-stop in the office! What juice are you using?

I didn't even bring my camera. It seems our efforts paid off and things are very quiet today, so I may get to relax the next few days, head over to the Mercedes museum, day trip to Munch, etc.......
 
If you get over to the Mercedes museum, consider the Kundencenter in Sindelfingen. They have a MUST SEE the tour of the plant. It was one of the highlights of my 3 week trip to Deutschland many moons ago.

It's after 11pm and I'm still at work, again (every day since I've been here). I can say we've had some awesome Swabian and Persian (!) food. I think I'll get to decompress a bit Tuesday and Wednesday. O and a radler (mix of beer and bitter lemon pop) is standard fare at lunch. :) Robert I doubt I'll get to Sindelfingen, the museum is about I'll manage..............
 
Do a historical tour.

Or better yet go on a river cruise... I loved those

lol yeah I'd love to bring home some cars! What is cool is with Porsche and Mercedes here in Stuttgart, there are "test" cars constantly going by w/ little to heavy masking. Seen a few Merc's and no idea what they are, and a Porsche under wraps.

Anyway Tuesday and today have been very relaxing and we left work at a decent time, so I've had a little time to wander around. I leave Thurs AM, I am really going to miss the lovely fall weather here!

/me heads out to a pub to sit outside and drink weissbier...............
