I've heard some bad things about prestone in these engines, should I get it flushed at the dealer and replaced with factory? Is it easy to do at home?
Had a coolant leak, now there's a mix of toyota and prestone in there, flush?

Yes it is easy to do at home. Obviously you have the drain at the bottom of the radiator, but there is one drain on either side of the block. Get a long hose that will fit over the metal drain and turn the 10mm head on it. I usually use a 10mm 3/8 swivel socket with a long extension. Give it a few turns and it will drain out. Use pink Toyota coolant. I'd get 3 of them. Just make sure you turn your heat on when your waiting for the thermostat to open up.
