Got the transmission going back together after a strip down and complete rebuild. Looking at some videos and threads, it seems the countershaft rear bearing is usually what fails. Fluid came out horrible, and Seemed like transmission was noisy, that prompted the rebuild. Max spec on diameter for manual is 39.9mm, and this measures 39.8 in the center of the bearing surface with the caliper squeezed. Should this $600 shaft come back out and be replaced?
