I found a deal on some recentered h1 rims. They have been back spaced by copperhead fab 3.75. I'm planning on running my d60 and 14 bolt at full width. Good idea or ?

~ 86" wide...

Or so..

Make the trailer fenders drive over ;)

My H1 rims are about 5.5" BS...

my 40 is 82"

I really like the width..

picking these up... :flipoff2:

they are HEAVY..

15" steel rims with 39.5" Iroks = 80 ish lbs each
Recentered hummer rims with 39.5" Iroks = 135 lbs each...

Then fill the fronts with water... 330 lbs each :D

well, I'm gettin a good deal on them and I'm trying my best to collect buggy parts on a budget so I'm less likely to say screw it and start cutting on the 60... at least the weight will be on the bottom side right?

42s are the plan. :)

not to hi-jack my own thread but speaking of water in the tires....

Do you think there is any advantage of putting water in my front tires at Moab... I bought one of those snazzy water fill tire thing-a-bobs but have been reluctant to fill them for the trails around here but since I'm trailering my 60 to Moab I thought it might be worth it? Or am I asking too much of my 30 splines with 39.5s?

no reason with stock cruiser knuckles...

Moab has excellent traction anyway..

So is the one ton stuff going under your 60 or is this stuff for the buggy. Either way its cool

Dam, I wouldn't try that unless equipped w/ Bobby's 60 birfs & treated R & P. Carrier side gears would be next to :nuke:

Broken - you runnin stock Spicer 30 spline outers or cromo stuff?

We'll see after Cruise Moab.... I plan on wheelin the 60 as is for the event. If the 30spline longs and everything else seem to hold up then I will probably leave it alone. If I get into alot of body damage and/or start breaking drivetrain stuff... my 60 might turn truggy.

I'm really really really tryin to keepin my 60 as it sits now and just collecting buggy parts over the next year for a true hardcore wheeler. I'm soooo tempted to just throw the 1ton stuff under there, sell the old stuff(axles, toybox, etc) and order up an atlas, and get to cuttin but I'd really hate to do that to her right now....

Right now I'm running the stock LC axles with Bobby long 30 spline with the 39.5s. I've been out quite a bit since I went to the 39.5s and so far so good. Moab should be a good test for the LC junk.

I really really think I am pushing my luck running a tbi 350, th350, 4 to 1 toybox to split case, and 39.5s with a mild to heavy foot (not to mention my 60 weighs 5400lbs.) but so far I've had good luck.
