So I was driving home today and out of no where I lost power over the space of about 10 seconds. Engine stalled out. I swore at it for about 5 seconds, hit the ignition and it started back up. Didn't respond right away to my foot pushing the accelerator into the firewall, but then revved up and got me the last km home as if nothing had happened.
Im After a little input and you guys here seem to be wizards with these cars. It "felt" to me like i'd run out of diesel (My other car is a vt commodore - Accurate fuel gauges they do not have) so I'm going to have a look at the fuel lines and filter/s tomorrow, but I've been doing quite alot of electrical work and was wondering if this kind of stall is symptomatic of electrical problems. I also did some welding on my front bar today. I disconnected the earth, but could this have given my some problems?
Also not sure if this should be in the diesel section or here. Still a bit nooby
