Guys,
What have been your experiences with these brands of floor liners for your GX? I know there's been some give and take on other vehicles with these two brands.
Very Respectfully,

Bruce

We love our weather techs... People complain about the color match on the tan but if it matched it would be too light o a color and show all the dirt. My favorite part is the fit though, it doesn't move around at all.

I cannot comment about Husky liners, I have only had experience with Weathertech floor liners. I chose these because I heard good things and was able to pick up a complete used set for less than a hundred on Ebay. I could not find Husky liners for that price, new or used. In my opinion, the Weathertech liners start looking dirty within less than a month. Which can be expected, but I cannot just wipe clean with water to get rid of the grime. I usually have to spray with a hose and scrub with Aerospace protectant. But the good part is, after scrubbing with Aerospace, they look really good. They are really good floor mats and definitely contain spills. I had my set from the time my son was 6 months to now that he is almost 3, and they have contained everything he has spilled or spit up into them.

Attached are pictures of my set (tan) when I first installed them (after a cleaning).

I'm not impressed with the black weathertech set we have in our GX. they appeared grey after a couple of months and the weathertech badges peeled off at about the same time. they slip and are very thin. i think they are way over priced for what you get.

FWIW, i had husky liners on previous vehicles (4runner, ford excursion, dodge 2500) and liked them because they were fairly robust and had spikes on the bottom to stay anchoerd to the carpet. that said, i dont know if the husky offering for the GX has those same attributes.

I got a set of new black Weathertech floorliners for my wife's Highlander. I did not like the finish, reminded me of a black plastic trash can. And the color does start to lighten up when they get dirty. The badges did fall off in a month (also happened on one of my GX mats), but was a quick fix with some Loctite (but isn't everything a quick fix with Loctite).

i have the weathertech liners in my GX, first set i have ever owned. i have had huskys before and was not impressed with them in my 4runner, sure they did a ok job, but idk something about them didnt seam as nice as the weathertechs. mine are black, and i have had them since January with no issues, never had them slide around, they clip into the factory floor mat retainers and stay put. they keep the dog hair and dirt contained as well as any spills from food or drinks, and mud that i track in from getting into the carpeting. personally i have never had or noticed them turning grey or fading -maybe its just the dirt? i take my mats out about once a month in the summer and clean them and about every other week in the winter and spray & scrub them to get them clean. i liked mine so much that i went ahead and bought the window vents and the moonroof visor. so far i have not had any issues with any of the stuff.

I have weathertech on my GX 470 and had Huskies on my 03 Tacoma before that, we have weathertech in the 2000 LC and our F350 too,. A little more expensive but the Huskies we're good but the drivers mat bent and the quality was lesser

How did you manage to find the ideal GX470 interior!?!?!?!?! Black wood and dash with tan leather is extremely hard to find

Just got a set of front and rear gx weather tech liners. Anyone else have a fit issue with the rear liner? Mine seems a bit long on the passenger side rear near the footpad.
