please do! How long ago did you order them? (Wondering what the lead time is...)
They called me to confirm my order and they told me lead time was about 2 weeks. I'll also report back on if that was the case. They said it would end up shipping two weeks after I spoke to them. So that doesn't count ship time. But they're in CA so I figure it won't take that long to arrive.

CalTrend seat covers arrived today via UPS. So lead time was just two weeks plus shipping. Not bad at all. Covers look pretty good. Haven't had a chance to install yet, mocked up the driver's seat and fit seems good. Head rests are fitting a little funky, I'll try and install and take pics this weekend.

Thanks for the update! Would love to see some pics after you get them installed.

CalTrend DuraPlus Seat Covers Black/Beige

I think the fit is pretty good for seat covers.
  • I can tell that since I went with the canvas style they probably don't fit as snug as a neoprene.
  • Seat backs don't sit super snug to the contours of the front of the seat, but I think they need to be broken in more.
  • The headrest is the only thing that I would say could be better (looks a little lumpy).
  • Install was super simple, just some clips and velcro in places.
  • The molle seatbacks don't come with them lol, already had a those.
  • Also nice that they make a 3rd row, I do use those seats for the kids sometimes.
  • I like the black beige and how it looks with the tan interior.
Note: coverking seat covers are currently on sale at autoanything. Probably will be cheaper than these caltrends for the time being.

My leather was wrecked, so this is a huge improvement for my interior.

Are good condition seats out of a wrecked 470 not a thing? No offense, but most those seat covers look terrible and out of place in a high end vehicle.
Last weekend, this is just what I did, I wish I had done a bit more research though. I have a 2003 GX and bought seats out of a 2005 thinking they were the same. They are not for the front seats (different harnesses)

The 2003-2004 and 2005-2009 are different. But I went ahead and just swapped the seat covers. It's a bit tedious, but not bad. My brother and I made a video on it, so no one makes the dumb mistake I made, see below. It's still worth it in my eyes, but it went from a 20 min seat swap to like a 6 hour job.

I still like going with the OEM seat covers, because you don't have to deal with swapping over the heating elements (which are interchangeable across all gx470 years), because lexus has these glued on to the seat covers.
