In the engine bay I see a "slot" marked 400W inverter. What's this? I am wondering if its good to pull ignition controlled 12V 20A from this. Is the pin live when car is on?

I was thinking of using the SPDT relay, and tapping off the battery if this pin is not feasible. In that case, where should I pull ignition controlled 12V for the relay switch?

There was a 100W/400W inverter option available in other markets. I've seen it show up on upper trim Canadian models in 10-13 period. It disappears from documentation after that.

All exposed prongs inside the engine by fuse box get 12V live with ignition off too. Wondering what to tap. Need something which gets 12V only when ignition is on

To add I have removed the rear seats. Does the fuse get power when car is off? If not then I can simply pull 12V directly from that

I don't know if all trim levels have powered 3rd row seats, but mine were. The power circuit to the seats is constant hot, there is one for each seat motor (ie one on each side of the rear cargo area), and each circuit is fused at 30A. I used those circuits for other purposes when I removed the 3rd row.
