Have you considered a wheel such as a Method Beadgrip or ICON Rebound? I'd personal pick the ICON out of the two for ease of wheel dismounting.

FYI beadlocks are not usually DOT approved for highway use.
Yep, I am familiar with the DOT issued and no longer commute with it. I am in Colorado and my local discount tires installs them. So cant be that illegal.. 😂

Might have to bring them in loose.

I had seen the icons and their system seems novel compared to traditional beadlocks

Anyone run beadlocks? Looking for comments from folks that have experience with them. Been airing down to 10 and want to go lower.

I have done some initial looking and found a rew potential candidates around $300 a wheel. Just trying to find some with positive offset.
First off, and I can only speak for CA, to the letter, beadlocks are not legal, but never heard of anyone being sited for them.
The problem that CA has with them is that they assume that beadlock owners will not be diligent enough to ensure ALL the bolts around the wheel are torqued. If a couple of bolts loosen or are missing, it can cause a huge blow with a heavy metal ring being shot out into traffic.
I believe JEFFKISTHENAME has them on his rig.
You could go with something like this: https://www.coyoteents.com/beadlocks/
It's an inner, inner tube that presses the bead to the rim on the inside. Cheaper and more legal. BUT... you'll have to drill another valve stem hole in your rims.

Per your question about PSI, you can run your pressure down to 5 or 8 PSI depending upon the tires side wall. I'm not an expert, but my guess is you should be able to run the tire low enough to the point where you're not rolling the rim over the folded sidewall going over obstacles. That's when you'll get "snake bite" punctures and tare's on sidewall, then you'll using the spare.

Does anyone know the GX’s air suspension compressor max psi? Or anything about the psi rating?

Someone bulldozed Wheeler Lake trail. Its now a 1 or a 2. The local wheeling community is in shock and very angry.

i saw the posts about. something about a mining co near the trail but not through it. never had the chance to visit but looked awesome with the obstacles.
Hoping for above average snow to wash it out.

Just don't do like the heeps and get bead lock wheels that are only bead lock on the outside! LOL

Ummh.. you actually really only need it on the outside because of the construction of the wheel. The inner bead has an elongated area that is roungly the same diameter, where rhe outer bead immediately cuts in to give tire techs space to work the tire on the wheel.

There are designs that do both sides but that's way beyond what I am going to be doing with my truck I just want extra insurance if I want to air down to 8 PSI on an especially nasty trail for ride comfort. My back is ****ed from an injury while I was in the chAir Force. I found airing down a little extra makes a big difference for ride comfort.

Have you looked into the inner, inner inflation beadlock system? For myself, that's be the I'd want to go.
Also, if you should shred a sidewall and are out of spare's, you could in theory use it like a "run-flat", without ruining your rim.

Yes and not interested. Going to get the ICONs in 00 offset.

I haven't bought a set of new Alloys in 24 years, so its time.

Interesting. So the geometry of the wheel is such that the tire can only be installed and removed from the outer face of the wheel? The ones I have seen do not have a large inner lip the size of the outer bead lock ring. They simply are a normal wheel with a faux outer bead lock.
