Tell me more. No, but a couple places sell a wiring harness and switch to make a factory Toyota elocker 8.2 diff work
Premier West Gears in Riverside California installed a 2016 4R elocked 8.2” rear diff on my 2003 GX470 and they had to get a new wiring harness and mine looks a lot like this one…including the very functional, but very ugly switch!Tell me more.

Excellent. Thanks!Wil Oberdick at Dark Illusions Fabrication (Best found on Facebook) makes a harness that uses the rotary Toyota factory switch which fits into the black square dead plate to the right of your steering column. That’s about as factory looking as you can get.
It also takes about 5 minutes to wire that same switch to a set of Eaton E lockers.Wil Oberdick at Dark Illusions Fabrication (Best found on Facebook) makes a harness that uses the rotary Toyota factory switch which fits into the black square dead plate to the right of your steering column. I have a factory locker, felt it money well spent. If I ever get a front locker it would be an eaton, agree the wiring is a lot easier. It also takes about 5 minutes to wire that same switch to a set of Eaton E lockers.
His stuff looks good. Anyone else have any experience in dealing with him and using his product.
