GX Headlights install?

Has anyone put the GX headlights in a domestic market 200? The grill and upper chrome look the same. Headlights and lower chrome on the grill is different. It would get rid of the chrome wings that look so stupid dividing the domestic headlights. In the long run it will probably be a cool thing like JDM headlights in an 80.

Seems like a huge downgrade to go to halogen bulbs. One thing to consider also is the drivers for the bulbs. Over the run they had halogen, HID, and LED and I assume the wiring is all different.

I am sure the wiring is different but if I know Toyota it is a different plug in wiring harness. Halogen bulbs are easier to obtain when traveling outside of the U.S. The GX headlights are glass instead of the acrylic pseudo head lamps.
