GSMTR Cabin Search

I started searching for rental cabin options for GSMTR in June. However with the new venue, nothing is coming up close by. Does anyone have any contacts or suggestions for finding something?

Those are just some of the nearby parks that I know have cabins. I will talk to some people from Sparta tomorrow and see if they know of anything closer.

Today I asked some of my coworkers in Sparta and so far we haven't come up with anything closer.

Thanks running all this down. Would you also have a feel for how long a drive it would be from the ORV to cabin areas in a truck? My experience at Tellico was 4-5 mile drive would be a 30 minute drive due to winding narrow roads, but the Sparta area looks more developed so the roads could be a lot better.

No problem at all.

I couldn't find any cabins closer but there are a lot of hotels locally if you're interested. I would be glad to ask them about group rates. They would be within 15 minutes of the park.

I think the drive times in the MAP links above are pretty accurate since it will be mostly hwy driving with speed limits up to 70 in some places. Golden Mountain's park gates are about 2 miles from hwy 111 and those roads are paved the whole way. The only place the drive times may be off would be inside the state parks due to the cabin locations.
