I was going to try to leave out around 8, that is as long as my 62 is back together by then!!

I've got a SWR meter. I'll try my best to make sure it's in the truck :D

Cool. My SWR meter IS IN my -40. So I will have one also; it has not been used in 25 years... so it would be good to have a 2nd if one is available.

We'd have to leave NLT 7AM from N Charleston to make an 11AM Sierra Nevada arrival.

 I say : Let's make sure we get everyone (that we can) from the LCLC together that we can, LAST MAN set's the departure time..... ?

Tim, you might have to :steer: chase us down.:( Or we could wait for you at SN and :beer::beer:..... that could be a problem though.

Windrock is 6+ hours - straight driving, a current model year car, with no stops...

Yeah, same length drive for me. What are y'all complaining about?! :flipoff2:

I think we're gonna leave my house at 6:00am because we've got to stop in Asheville.

Tim does need his beauty sleep; I don't want to deprive him of this and listen to him on the CB complaining how his hair could have looked better if we just gave him another 20 minutes of sleep...
Don't hate the player, hate the game

I'm good with waiting for @dbenke, and leaving Charleston when he is ready.

That should put us in Columbia 2 hours AFTER he leaves Mt Plastic.

We may have a little change of plans... Corey may not be able to get off work till later on Wed. It may be an afternoon departure for us so we may just arrive late Wed. night. Hopefully he'll be able to make the trip or I'll be driving the 4runner up to Windrock by myself. I'll let everyone know as soon as I find out more.

Scott - you and Tim might be able to meet up still...

I'm not sure what time we'll get out of here, but I'm definitely give Tim and Scott Johnson a call Wed to see how they're doing and what time they plan on leaving. We'll probably get to Windrock really late Wed nite so y'all please leave a light on for us and a bed to crash in!

... so y'all please leave a light on for us

We're not staying at a Red Roof Inn.... We'll be at the fire pit. That will be your light. :flipoff2:

Okay, I will be rolling slower than David and Erik, so I will punch on down the road a bit earlier. The pace we had for the Relic Run suits me just fine and y'all will probably catch me. I want to try to catch Will and Johnny at SN and gauge how my 80 is doing. Everything seems fine on it except, of course, the power steering. I'm aiming to leave my house at 0700 and arrive at SN at noon. I think everyone has my phone number.

Tim, did I read the thread correctly? Are you coming in late on Wednesday?

@CharlestonG8R / @dbenke - can we find a compromise time so that the three of us can roll together? Safety in numbers !

My F350 does not need to try to break any LandCruiser Speed Records... I SHOULD be ready any time tomorrow AM. ** Trollhole Dizzy going in today***

Having a quart of PS fluid on hand is always a good idea. I have no idea what I'll get away from work on Wed, but probably late PM. I'll probably stay in western NC overnight and roll in around 9:00AM Thursday. Once I get to Windrock, I'll go to the registration table (I guess) and then meet y'all to wheel. I'll need to find Erik because I'm sure he'll be on the same bunny slopes as me.

I can leave out anytime, guys. I am trying for 8:00.
We really need to make Thursday count, looks like rain and thunderstorms Friday, at least it won't be dusty.

I'm bringing a spare power steering pump, should the worst case happen (hoping i dont need it again). Throw a couple quarts of ATF in if you need it. The system may just need to be bled and get the air out.
