Hate I missed it, I was all packed up and ready to go..... :crybaby:

1) Brodie Brown is smarter than most people I know.

2) Do not hand Jason F. a mason jar and expect it to come back to you with anything in it.

3) Alex is my favorite person because he loves his dog so much.

4) Al's beard is quite impressive

5) You all rock! Thanks so much for donating the winch and for joining us at GSMTR.

It was a great time and I look forward to the next time we get together.

It was good meeting you Heather, I must say that 55 is the cleanest one i've ever seen in person.
Glad we could help out and we want to see pics when the winch is fitted.

well noone would have wanted that last sip anyways :D

AWESOME TRIP !!!! had a great time and was impressed by the commitment of the members that did show up and show their support for our trails. Kudos to Heather for donating the prizes she won to the GA cruisers 62 build fund. VERY impressive!

I met a lot of new faces that felt like friends from the first moment, and it was great to see some old familiar faces and place names to computer handles. Thanks to all that were involved in making this event happen and to all that continue to show their support for the cause. Jason, sorry I never made it over to say hello on Saturday.
Im beat after a busy day back at work and couldnt find it in me to swing by URE after work for some reason. Like 1173 miles and 4 states in 8 days but ill get some pics ups soon.

Like AL said, there is no real accurate way to describe how steep Beasley Knob is........ except for maybe OMFG!!! That was rediculous, and a lot of fun. Sustained 4k rpm climbs at 30+ degrees for two plus minutes is an incredible rush....................especially when your not locked. Thanks for holding on to Brown!!!

WOOT WOOT.....never imagined winning the rock crawling comp! Glad it wasnt any longer or i would have DNF'd due to heat exhaustion.

this first one needs no explanation
(but for those not there this gentleman pulled in and parked up next to all our cruisers displayed out in the parking lot for public awareness and was looking for a local mechanic referrall as his rover had been leaking oil all morning  but now its stopped, and hes afraid it was empty. He then said his rear diff was weeping but it appeared to be blowback only. At this point I 100% believed we were all being set up as the butt of a good joke. But it turned out to be true and after spending a few moments gathering ideas and learning about tellico he um TRIED to leave)

Second pic: one of the nicest my eyes have ever seen in person

last pic: when was the last time you saw a 40/45, a 55 and a BJ70 running down the road?

I'd just like to echo the others' thoughts that it was a great time at GSMTR '09! Sure, Tellico being closed put a damper on things, but the crew from UC made the most of things and I think everybody had a really good time. Many thanks to Marshall, Heather, Steve, and the rest of the UC crew for all their hard work.

Being at GSMTR without either my 4Runner or the 40 felt a little strange, but the Tundra was up to the task of hitting the forest roads on the way up to Buck Bald.

Here are a few of my shots:

Were you drinking rum...Captain Morgan's by chance :D?

I regret not getting off my @ss and going but enjoyed driving the 40 around town after it's 3 month slumber. Looks like you all had a great time!!

Any way to purchase raffle tickets for the GA cruiser or was it a GSMTR thing only? Steph has ok'd me picking up two tickets...but I don't think she wants me to win :hhmm:...maybe she doesn't want another cruiser in our driveway??
