I own a company that installs 3M headlight protectors and Clear Bras for area dealerships. We did a group buy on the headlight protection film on the 80 forum last month It went well, and I thought I'd also offer it here in case 100 series owners would like to get these on their trucks before summer road trip season gets under way.
Here's a quick description. The 3M film is designed to protect your headlights, front blinkers and corner marker lights from sand abrasion and road gravel impact. Applied on a headlamp with a frosted look from years of minor impacts, it will make them glossy again and improve output to near factory levels. It will never yellow, peel or discolor even if you have high output bulbs as they are made of polyurethane rather than the cheap vinyl that has been on the market for years. The 3M film even has a clear coat on it that can be polished with ordinary car wax in the event it is scratched such as from brush. They also shed bugs more readily.
The 100 kits normally sell for $70. I will make them available to anyone on this list in the US and Canada (other countries I'm willing to try on a case by case basis as I have no idea about ship charges) for $53.20. This includes precut self adhesive covers, shipping, install instructions, a rubber squeegee and a protective tube to ship it all in. I'm basically covering my costs and this is the same deal from the group buy just completed, which worked out well. I also offered to provide custom cut covers for anyone's aftermarket foglamps for $20 additional and will do the same here (basic kit already covers any factory fog lamps). Provide the dimensions for aftermarket fogs, measuring precisely from edge to edge leaving a 1/8" margin from the edge so your covers will not go over the radius of the lense edge (will not go around corners).
