Ground ship: L. Beach, CA to Kennewick, WA

I need to get a cruiser I'm buying from Long Beach, California to Kennewick, WA. Any advise, suggestions on shipping? I've gotten bids between $250 and $2000. I've never done this before, and I would really appreciate any words of wisdom or recommendations. Thanks.

$250 would be hard to pass up, gas would be almost as much. Be careful about some of those companies, they're pretty flaky. I got two shipped from Tucson to San Jose for $750. Here's the info: Browns Auto Transport
