Just bought my 99 LC it has the paint matched bumpers (river rock) but I see other 100's with grey bumpers like the 80's. Was this an option? random? a year thing? I don't see it listed on the window sticker.

To the best of my knowledge all 100s were two tone (body and bumpers only, not everything below the waistline like an LX). If yours is color-matched, it was probably a custom job.
Isn't Shotts 100 River Rock? I think it is solid as well. My LX is RR and I don't know what color would look right as the second tone on RR to be honest.
I have a RR '00. At first glance it may "look" like the bumpers are RR but they are not. They are actually a slightly darker shade than the body color.
D'oh Forget what I just said....Now that I am fully awake I can say that my bumpers are in fact body color (River Rock). I believe it is the LX that has the subtle two-tone effect. I should have gone out and looked before opening my mouth

My bumpers are grey i.e. they do not match my silver colored 100. I have thought about getting them painted black like an OZ 105 or OZ optioned 100. Looked really cool and took away that mall cruiser stance.
Been thinking about "trimming" some excess plastic off my bumpers and Line-X'ng them black

I think I like the grey better, but not sure it's worth the money to change it? Or actually how it would look? Does anybody with RR have grey bumpers? Or the black pearl emblems for that matter..... wondering how that would look.

What about just replacing the front bumper with an ARB? Then you get black and a sweet bar as well! Course, a bit more expensive than a paint job...

I would strongly suggest looking at some vehicles that are a dark grey overall with the light grey bottom trim before going that route. IMO (and just an opinion), there's a reason river rock didn't get 2-toned like so many of the other colors.
Black emblems do look nice on them however. I think maybe it was landpimp who went with the black emblems. Try a search on that one as I am certain there was a thread.-t

I am a little confused. Is River Rock Green actually green or is it a shade of grey? Or is there both river rock green and river rock grey? I have seen a few "river rock" cruisers online, but they look grey to me.

Riverrock Green Mica is actually a dark grey metallic with slight green metal flakes. Much like rocks in a river that are dark grey with slight hints of green.

I have the black emblems on the river rock and think it is the "anti-bling" combination! I actually had to convince my wife that it was easy to take the gold off of them because she did not want the gold combo., we knew it was to be when we saw the emblems!
let me clarify, when we went to look at it the first time in the p.o. 's driveway!

Yeah, I like the look of the black pearl emblems a lot. Anyone know if they make a grill emblem in black pearl? I suppose cdan is the person to ask. looked like the one from that link had chrome.
