Yes, I was looking for vehicle/gear requirements. Is a fire extinguisher mandatory? I have one but the mount is not ideal for off roading.

Not required, as in you will not be turned away w/o. Others will have, I will have, but if used on your truck you'll owe someone a fresh one. BTW, if you have a OEM cage in your 40, the Rubber 'Quick-fists' work great mounted with 3/8" zip ties.

I would say recovery points front and rear, spare tire. I would bring the fire extinguisher even though you don't have a mount. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

I have a new mount coming in the mail on Friday so should be good. Bought my CB antenna today.

Can we non-members along as passengers?

So long as they sign the liability release papers. Also, have you emailed me yet? (I'm not good with correlating screen names with real names)

Yes. I'll reply to the email you sent out earlier.

I didn't rate the trail but I'm of the opinion that any trail rated for a stock vehicle is considered to be able to be run by a stock vehicle at the minimum build out for that model. That would exclude the need for any additional traction devices or recovery equipment.

All Toyotas as far as I know have 4 recovery points and those should be in place in case another member should need to attach a tow strap safely to your vehicle. If your model didn't come with them, you should invest in adding them.

Vehicles should also meet local regulations, inspections and be in good mechanical condition.

I've got recovery point front and rear.

So what's the roster for tomorrow? I'm likely going solo. Any word of the BBQ after hours?? Just trying to make my plan.

Good time wheeling with the club today. Found some challenging obstacles on the stock run. Thanks to Niall and Rick for making it happen and for the BBQ.
NOW let's see some of those pic!
