I have the Lx450 that received the sliders Matt posted pics of. He did a great job. I also bought his bumper, which he customized a receiver into. The diamond plate, and adding the receiver were my idea and are the only part of the project I can take any credit for --- and spraying some wd40. Matt does awesome work and is a heck of a nice guy. I bought the Lx because I got such a good deal, it had lift, 35s, custom wheels, supercharger, clean interior and relatively low miles. It did not have lockers but my original Lc did - so I have just completed the axle swap from my old faithful Lc to the Lx. That was an adventure. So now I have everything but the rear bumper... Hint hint Matt!

For anyone who may be interested in an 80 series I will be selling my now unlocked (does have the main wiring harness if you want to lock it back) 1996 Forest Green Lc. It has 215k but they are all highway miles to Atlanta and back and down 280. Only getting rid of it bc I found this cool Lx. It looks great has awesome tires and is even pretty nice inside still. It has a very faded hood but that is scheduled to be fixed next week. Catch it before then and I can be a bit more flexible on price. Pm me if interested and feel free to ask Matt about it. I have had it for 10 years and know it well. It has had the head gasket done. Good truck to recommend to a friend you want to recruit to the awesomeness of cruisers!

Have also met Clarence and Ryan and they are both super nice! Shout out fellas!

Sounds like you know your 80's! So there's no point in "welcoming" you, but just say thanks for finding us!

I'd LOVE to buy the 96 but something tells me I'd beat it like a red head.

TJM castor correction left California yesterday. Going to scavenge the subwoofer from the Lc and then I think I'm done. Although I am going to price some new tires. Any takers on old style Bfg mud terrains w lots of tread but some dry rot? 35s w tons of tread.

Will keep everyone informed on how the TJM bushings perform.

Hey Kevin. Glad to see you found the group on the forum. Looking forward to seeing the LX in action. Good luck on the LC sale.

welcome
