Howdy- I'm a long time LC owner who is new to the forum. Currently living with an 1993 unlocked 1FZFE. There are few options for mechanics where I reside, so I've been doing my own base lining. You guys have saved me thousands of dollars and labor hours. Thanks!
Congratulations on the LC. No pictures didn't happen.
 
Rough crowd....No action shots but you see by the shiny PS reservoir, radiator, new battery, and lack of filth, things have gone down. Started with an overheating issue, pretended it was a blown HG...its was... Had the timing chain done at the same time as HG.
New
Radiator. Belts. PS pump, PS LP lines, PS HP line, thermostat, water pump, gas tank, gas cap, wind shield fluid reservoir, battery, leads, terminals, idler pulley, AC compressor, AC pulley, ofc valve, many hoses, many vacuum lines....and just getting started.
Has 169 k, ARB front, and IPF trail lights.

Is that the SC7 or SC6 Optima? How is fitment? Bet it was fun putting that battery in there, they weigh a ton.
 
Its a 27F and you are correct. It is heavy and the fit is fairly tight. Nevertheless, the stock battery tie downs work. I just upgraded from a smaller Optima yellow top ( forgetting the model) and it was a challenge to secure, being so short.
 
Forgot to.mention expensive...but I got 7 solid years out of the last one so the cost felt justified. It would have lasted longer but I broke a post tapping the new terminals on....
