Looking to get connected with others in the Okinawa and Japan area. Love my Delica, but want to sell it to get a diesel TLC to bring back stateside later. On Kadena and work love to check out your rigs in person. Cheers, Eric

Little off topic!
My 19 year old son and his buddy want to work up in the Northern Ski Hill area of Hokkaido.
Can any of you offer insight or contacts?

Lastly this would offer me the opportunity of picking up another Diesel!

Hello... I'm guess that the OP is still searching for a Cruiser...

To answer your question, Hokkaido is the northorn-most island of Japan. Okinawa is an Island that's about a 4-5 hour flight. Its doubtful anyone on this board, living in Okinawa, could help with that.

Been to Kadena a few times... My brother-in-law used to live there too. I'm curious what selection of Cruisers are easily available to you. I might find myself out that way in about 2 years ;)

Squash if they don't mind working in the ski area in Hakone (near Tokyo) I have a friend who might be able to help them out.

Thanks I'll check it out!

Thanks guys!
Son and old man skied Asahidake on Hokkaido just after the new year and all I can say is WOW.
We did not see the sun for nine days....powder ski heaven.
Need to spend more time in JP.
Like the fact that with 15 meters of snow most drivers are running skinny tires.
Stayed in a Japanese Hostel with excellent service and seven course Japanese meals.
Of interest is running warm volcanic water over the driveways leaving nothing to shovel but the snow on your vehicle.
Next door to us was a 40 and and HDJ81 and of course we drooled while conversing with the owner.
