Good morning ladies and gentlemen —

A brand new 2021 HE owner here, switching from a 2018 G550. Just got the car a couple days ago, and it seems really well designed and built. I’ve never owned a Japanese car before (mostly had various BMWs and MBs with a couple of domestics in between) and so far I am pleasantly surprised.

Just stopped by to say hi.

Can you compare it to your G Wagon for us? What made you decide on an LC?
 
Why did you get rid of the G550? Wasn’t that the 1st model year of the redesign?
 
Grats and welcome! One of my friends here at work just got a G wagon this weekend, flat black, AMG, looks and sounds awesome. After a ride in it, I wouldn't trade my 21 HE in on that thing even if ya paid me $50 lol

Was that the new G-wagen? I thought that the new ones ride better with the IFS. LC does have an amazing ride.
 
Better is relative. The old ones ride like sled over cobblestones so it doesn't take much to get better than that. A lot of power though and sounds mean as hell. He's got it for the look factor and pickin up chicks, not for practicality although Land Cruiser and practical doesn't really make sense either lol.
