congrats man!

Congratulations man, dont know you but best wishes, marriage is a great thing if you apply yourself.
I should have read this before I made the crack I did on the 'moderator' thread, would have put a whole different spin.

Will she wheel? Sometimes I wonder whether it better they do or don't share your hobby. Mine hasn't gone yet. When she does it'll either be the last time or she'll want to drive/have her own thenceforth.

Congrats again.

That moderator thread got started like a year ago. I dont know how it got brought back up.

I'm sure she'd go wheeling not on any overnight trips or anything like that but for the day. She works a lot though so its hard to align days off and wheeling.

Oh I see. I didn't pay any attention to the dates. Since it just showed up on the hot page I assumed it was new. Should have noticed there were an awful lot of posts.

My Jeri just doesn't understand how one would go out and risk damaging a perfectly good vehicle representing lots of money. But then she hasn't been out with us.
I'm not sure I understand it myself, certainly didn't see it coming when I bought the FJ.
Something about test of skill+overcoming the elements I guess.

I dont view my cruiser as lots of money course its a lot older and I have rebuilt so much of it that I dont care. As for tests of skill I think male shovanism is another way of putting that. :grinpimp:

Kudos to the happy couple

Man, what a misnomer of a thread title! I don't go to G'Vegas for
chinese and almost missed the news!
Kudos Richard. May ya'll have the happiness and bliss that Lynn and I have enjoyed for over 30 years.
Nothing beats a good women who loves you. Best thing that ever happened in my life.
Lynn and I are thrilled for both of you.

Thanks David, the thread name was appropriate for its original purpose the purpose changed a little though.

I understand. I just meant I almost missed the good news.
Ya wouldn't want to go blabbing it to the world before she got her surprize.
Women are funny that way. ;) It was a neat an memorable way to
pop the question.
Are you going to have a groom registry at Ralph Hayes Toyota,
MAF or SOR? ;)

Hahaha I dont think a groom registry will do me any good there outside of 2 or 3 people I can think of. I'll probably just end up get some extra housewares or whatever like that. That stuff is all a ways away though. I'm gonna enjoy the engaged part and all the early benefits that come with, push questions like have you set a date to the back burner for now.

Just remember to register at Sears. If you really wan to build a life together you need some Craftsman tools to so ;)

Thanks Heather.

Dan I already have a fair amount of craftsman tools including some new line wrenches and a pickle fork that I just got. Give me another 2+ yrs and I will probably have a hard time finding new tools I havent bought already.
