So the Wife and me (yea no kids for the first time in over 3 yrs?) are taking a weekend and planning on going up to GP to do the Hells Gate boat ride on the Rouge. What else can I plan on doing for the weekend and where to Eat and Sleep. I tried doing a romantic Mcgrew ride just the two us but that failed, or burst into a big ball of laughter on the floor from the wife. Anyways looking for sugestions, I know that the Mall in Medford will be one of the stops along with Costco. Yoowoo Costco without the kiddo's Yes!

If you're spending the night, the treehouses in Cave Junction are supposed to be nice.

Taprock in GP is a nice place to eat, very good atmosphere and right on the river.

J-Ville is nice, expensive to eat and stay. Can walk around the town in the little shops.

Sorry, all I got. Even the :princess: wasn't much help on this one.....

Whats J-ville

Copy, I know the place just don't know the Oregonian lingo

Ashland has good resturants as well and can be nice to walk around the park. Dragonfly, Peerless, Alex's, BlackSheep, Geppetto's, Morning Glory, Thai Pepper, etc.

Little out of the way, but cool place to crash is Green Springs Inn.

Jacksonville has a museum that is pretty cool, if you like that stuff, Britt concerts if you can get tickets. I drive thru it to get to work and mostly I see folks wandering around looking for something else to do, lots of men sitting on the benches looking a little bored..
Grants Pass-Summer Joe's is a great dinner/lunch spot- girls dig it, not cheap but good and gourmet, they source a lot of their food from the garden on the same property. Casa Amigo has a really good smellin' BBQ on Friday night, reservations required so I hear, never been there but will someday. Redwood Motel is nice- downtown so not real quiet.
Toy350 has all the good spots dialed in...
