There is a new chip out called the SiRF Star III, I believe. This chip is only in certain GPSes out there, including the one mentioned above. I'm sure it will soon be in most or all of them, but I would never invest in a GPS without this Chip or something smiliar. This chip works AWESOME.
I used to lose signal the moment I hit tree cover and it was very frustrating. They were almost useless to me for hiking in the woods and now I never lose a signal when I'm outdoor or driving, no matter where I'm at, except for inside a tunnel, cave or mine....obviously. However, I can get a signal inside buildings many times. It's super sensative. The way to go.
