The GPS Nav Map has been fine since day 1. However, during our recent trip to the Outer banks our GPS went literally haywire for a time. Traveling along Rt 301 S from Washington toward Bowling Green it started tracking a semicircular elliptical track about 100 mi west of our location, somewhere in central Virginia. I would have taken a picture but we were towing and I needed all concentration on the road. During this time, the "GPS" text in the upper left corner of the NAV screen blinked off and on repeatedly. Then, it cleared up completely when we got closer to our destination roughly at the Rt 168/158 intersection. It has been accurate and absolutely fine since!
I did recently update the map chip to the latest 2023 version but that ran fine for weeks before this episode.
Any ideas on what might have happened?
Any ideas on what's about to go bust?
Thanks in advance!
