Got VIN to get ins

Last week my FJC arrived at the port in Vancouver; I will take a week or two to ship it to Edmonton

They gave me the vin number once it hit the port so i can use to get insurance quotes.

In case anyone cares i can post my quoted prices.

Ok here is one.

OK i only have one quote so far.

Company: Primmum
Location: Edmonton, AB Can
Years Driving: 14
No accidents or speeding tickets that they know of
Deductible: 500
Full, collision, comprehensive glass, etc
1145 per year

For some reason that is cheaper then i got a quote for on an xterra last year.

The first time I phoned for a quote the insurance company had no idea what an FJ was so they used a Rav4 to create the quote. Not that the vehicle is similar in nature - just the closest thing for insurance purposes. Since then I've gotten a VIN number so, just as a point of reference, the FJ was $250 less than a V6 Rav4.
