It took a little longer than expected to get delivered, but I picked up my Hella maplight (19") today and just installed it.

Thanks. No LED, but on the back of the box it says 12V/6W xenon bulb. It is a lot brighter than the factory reading light mounted above the rear view mirror. The end actually swivels a bit as well about the center which is nice, and it also comes with a removable red lens.
I had a local truck parts store order for it for me about 3-4 weeks ago. The price is actually on the box in the pic (CAN$62.94) but you can also get it on amazon for less, but I just couldn't be bothered with having it shipped to Canada.

I like that:bounce::clap:

Very nice, you'll love that thing! I use mine all the time, and I think the light is better than the LED I have in the factory reading light spot.

Enjoy!

That looks like a handy thing to have. This is now on my ever-expanding list of mods.

What he said^.
God damn this list just keeps getting longer and longer. ( that's what she said )

really nice how you mounted it, is that a clip at the front of it to keep it in place, ordering one now to mount in the same location

Yep. The light comes with the clip and three Phillips head screws (2 long for the base; 1 short for the clip). However, I bought some M4 x 20 Torx head screws as I thought they migt give a bit better clamping force that the screws provided. If you do mount the base in the same location as I did, you'll have to get two shorter screws for the base as the ones provided will probably poke through to the inside of the console cavity.

The light looks very useful. What is the deal with the plug on the side of the center console? Looks like a 12V port with cap.
