So I got my 2011 LC and couldn't be happier with it, albeit .....

It did come with a few things I didn't expect although I knew that it had the upgrade package (Remote engine start, Vehicle shield package, Paint Protection). I am not sure whether the Fender Flares are standard or extra. Living in AZ I am pretty happy with the factory remote start (despite its short comings in range and that the engine stops when I open the door - I wonder whether I can reprogram that via Techstream - I just got the USB cable).

However, a few things are missing - which I would love to get my hands on - so some advice where to find it at a reasonable price (I am checking ebay but no luck)

1. 3rd row Center Headrest in tan leather = and yes I looked in the zippered pocket - and I don't want to get an entire 3 rd seat row either - just need the head rest

2. 3rd Row Black Rubber Floor Liner : I got a floor liner for the trunk - OEM Toyota Land Cruiser Rear All Weather Cargo Matt PT908-60084-02 on ebay - but there is a narrow rectangular strip between that matt and the 2nd row where the carpet is not covered - I am trying to buy something that matches in black without having to buy full set of floor matts . Anything that comes to mind?

Thanks for all the help ....

Cheers

By the way with regard of the Remote Start ..

So I finally get the car (had it shipped from MI to AZ) - and have it services at the local Toyota Dealer (90K, 105K service, all fluids, all filter changed, AC recharged, new spark plugs, new battery) nearly $2K spent - the wife thinks that I am nuts after just buying this 105K car for $32K).

When I run into a neighbor who proudly shows off his new Jeep Patriot - I am not impressed except the remote start ... at 115F that day in Scottsdale ... I do want that.

So I call the dealer (the car still being serviced) - and ask him about a remote start. Quote Dealer " Lemme check whether the car has it already - 5 minutes later - nope it doesn't but we can put one in for you for $550).

So here I am - having hard time to explain to the wife why the $2K in service is a great idea - deciding to give up on the remote start.

Guess what - a week later I find some instruction manual on the remote start folded with the car instructions - give it a try and there it is .... so about trusting what a dealer / service department tells u ....

I have the all-weather mat set with that piece. I agree with you that I don't think it can be purchased separately. You could use the carpet cargo mat or get a weathertech which is long enough to cover that area. If you need me to measure mine so you can look for something similar let me know.

About the headrest, Camelback Toyota sells them for...drum roll please...$441. Youch. PN 7195060071E0.

What color seats do you need 3rd row headrests for?

Side topic: I want/need more durable floor mats/liners, especially for winter. Which is preferable: the OEM rubber mat set, or the WeatherTech liners? Don't care about the rear part, will have drawers back there soon. Seems like the WeatherTechs will catch more crap that gets tracked in, since they are more like a "tub".

If you want heavy rubber mats to keep mud and dirt on your shoes from being ground into your floors get the OEM. If you want a tub-like insert to catch and contain liquid get weathertechs.

"Tub-like"?? Lol.

Weathertech have a raised edge to contain liquid, but I'd hardly call them tub-like.. :)

Congrats on the 200! You'll love it. I'm in Az as well. Out of curiosity, which dealer please?

Be sure to check out the local club, lots of great folks!

Cool - I am definitely going to check it out - is much more fun to hang out with some like minded folks, And not having had much experience in off-roading on 4 wheels I will definitely appreciate some pointers on how to really take advantage of what this truck can do, where to go etc.

I had the car serviced at Right Toyota on FLW in Scottsdale

Well the car came with Weathertech in the front and the 2nd row - and they do remind me the showerfloor liner we just put down as we remodeled our shower (although much thicker) ..... :)

Camelback Toyota / CBT is where you want to do all your shopping and service. Contact @murf for questions or concerns regarding service, he is who we all use if we head to the dealer. Hands down the best place around and are truly experts on LC's. You'll be amazed all the varying years of cruisers around the place! It's remarkable. Great for parts as well.

Perhaps they had the generic Weathertech units...not custom fit? They do make some (or did).
