Well,, driving down the highway today had to pull over to take a cell call that was important.. After the call decided to walk the dog,, you know what I mean,, and right there on the side of the road in the drainage ditch was a trailer axle.. looks like one from a snowmobile trailer,, short fat tires on a torsion axle with hyd. brakes.. looks like the tires were new,, but the axle rusty.. very rusty,, mounts just ripped off this thing.. Must have been the 2nd axle on a tandem rig.. lots of people have them around here.. Well,,, up in the truck it went.. I'll use the stubs for a yard trailer or something.. but the tires, hubs(with bearing buddies) will go on a small utility trailer I'm building.. Was going to pick up steel this weekend to build a trailer to haul the lawn tractor around..
Never know whats laying on the side of the road.. If I could only find a semi tire with the rim still in it,, need a fire ring...
