Anyone here gone down the Dinoot path? If so, anyone using an HF frame?

Not me, just a casual curiosity but interested to hear any stories some Mudders can share. Yes, I've read Tent, Expo, etc.

You should also check out TNTTT...lots of Harbor Freight frames, with teardrops and Dinoot style builds.

Scott has the design perfected, through years of experience, check out his website, or shoot him an email for any questions.

His reputation for building/designing light weight, reliable trailers, buildable by folks from some pretty basic backgrounds, speaks for itself.

I actually have a Dinoot. Mine is a custom one that's been narrowed. It is not on the Harbor Freight chassis, but rather a welded square-tube version. I pull it with my Suzuki. It weighs about 400 lbs.

I recently lifted mine by doing a spring over, and adding larger wheels/tires, in this case 235/75/15 Kumho Road Venture KL71s on 15x7 steel wheels. I added a set of Bushwacker Pocket Style Fender Flares from a Jeep TJ and cut them down slightly to fit. I also used some spacers from Nitro Gear & Axle to get the fitment right.

Been very happy with it. I just got it last summer, so it doesn't have a ton of miles on it.

Great inputs here, thx guys. I've been reading quite a bit about these now and hope to start a build at some point this year.
