Got an old auto hood?

Hi Yall,

I am looking for an old auto hood, condition does not matter, aside from big gaping holes.

I plan to get one and drill holes at one end, hook up a chain and use it as a sled to move some big rocks around, (in conjunction with winch).

I'm in central CT and weekends very near Claremont NH. Hoping to find one that someone just wants to be rid of...dont really want to pay for one and I'm in no rush to obtain it. Getting it in NH would be best for me.

So if you have one you want to part with, it would be an asset to me.

Damn shame, I had to throw away a perfectly good hood from a mini-truck a couple of months ago, I couldn't give it away.

Saltlick....Yeah that is my next option. Was just hoping to do a bit of recycling without paying out., I know there must be someone out there that has one taking up space, think of the brownie points they could earn when they said to the wife..."I got rid of that old hood dear".

I will probably end up pay like $30 for some ratty old hood that I'm gonna pull around as a rock sled. Such is life I subpose....

Reminds me of the 70' Coup de ville I once had....17.5feet long! I went to look up and purchase a car cover for it and it was the largest size....It listed that model and a 50 something Lincoln continental. The smaller sizes of covers listed many models...Then that size only listed the two.
