Jerry have you contacted any of the local coating/blasting companies to check who their suppliers might be? Have you checked with Carquest?

I bought a large bucket of glass bead from Tractor supply. I lay down a LARGE tarp and just recycle it. You have to filter the leaves and crap back out of it, but that's no big deal. I have been using the same bucket all winter now.

Thats my exact plan but I can't find the media that is "fine" enough. They have a 60-80 grit that I'd try but I'm getting grumpy through this experimental process. I'm frankly surprised that this unit is restrictive in the grit of the media it can handle. That is why I'm looking at finding a way to fit a larger diameter nozzle on it so I can use a more aggressive media...
