Terrill may need to correct me but we ran the Hidden valley trail, which led to the squeeze. The 40 was the only vehicle that made it through and that took a while. This is a tight trail with lots of rock stacking and slow working. Skinny vehicles with lots of suspension and tires would shine on this trail.
We started out by jumping into a wash, which eventually led to Hidden Valley trail. This trail is full of rocks and small boulders that you had to work through. Eventually, you come into the Squeeze, which becomes a canyon and lots of potential for body damage. We found broken window glass where the vehicles leaned into rocks.
Starting into Hidden valley. Phil is in the Red Bronco, Terrill in the blue 40.
Riley playing with "Monster" the black lab puppy
Phil working out of getting high centered. Lots of diff and driveshaft eaters on this trail.
Eventually, you come to your first obstacle, a short water fall climb
After that, couple off camber spots
More obstacles, complicated by wet rocks everywhere
Terill making his way through the squeeze. At one point, his rear pass window came THIS close to being shattered. The black rubber window molding rubbed on the rock as he scampered by
At this point, Wes in the Green Bronco and I turned around and back tracked. Phil didn't enter this trail so he was in the high country. Terrill and Phil backtracked in the high country while Wes and I came out of the wash and met back up.
This was a hill we all tried to attempt. Green Bronco tried first with his beautiful V8 roaring up the hill, until:
Yup, grenaded the front DS:
I tried it and didn't get very far so it was Terrill's turn. To his credit, he was the third person to attempt a very chewed up hill. He actually made it near the crest on the first try and was never able to reach that height again!

Time to head out using a "shortcut". Which meant that you had to climb this hill, which was hard packed for the most part:
Phil was the first to go:

Followed by Terrill.
At this point, the Green Bronco was in rear WD and wasn't able to make it very far from the bottom of the hill. He was used his winch rope to hook on to to the 40 in the middle. The 40's winch was anchored to the Red Bronco at the top. And so the tandem winching commenced:

We were back on the road by 4pm.
