Goose Gear Drawer System (1 Viewer)

Just got my Goose Gear drawer system installed. I am still waiting on the carpet to come so I can install the top. Brian at Goose Gear did a wonderful job. His attention to detail and communication with me was outstanding.. I moved my 110v outlet to the front panel because when the top is installed it would have covered up the 110v factory location. Let me know anyone has any questions.

Question: after you install the top, do you lose all access to the empty spaces on the sides? Is it not possible to lift the top side pieces to be able to use those side areas for storage? It would be a shame to not have any access at all ...

That is a great point. I will have access to the side areas for storage....

The price is a little on the high side but if you research other drawer systems it is just a little more.. The quality of the Goose Gear system is outstanding.. The fit and finish is second to none. It is also very sturdy and will hold up very well. I feel it was money well spent...

I didn't see the wing / end cap covers listed on the website. Your installation has the end caps - was that a special request made by you or is that a set standard part when ordering that particular set up for our rigs?

I asked Brian at Goose Gear to send me some additional coated wood and I made them myself. He charged me like $25 additional and he send me enough material to make about 6 wings. It is a very easy material to work with. I just think the wings give it a nice finished look.

I totally agree with you. Given what is avaiable on the market today I feel Goose Gear is at the top in regards to craftsmanship and materials. Truth be told, I never saw a Goose Gear drawer system in person until I received mine. I talked with Brian at Goose Gear about 6 times before I pulled the trigger and he was outstanding to deal with. By talking with him I knew the system was going to be amazing. Photos don't do the detail any justice.. You need to see it in person..

Did you cross shop these with the ARB drawers in person? I can't see an advantage besides marginal weight savings.

Not sure I would want press fit 80/20 extrusions behind me in an impact.....

Looks good. I've been following them on instagram. Glad to see what you did with a 200. Was that just ordered max drawer width between the wheel wells and then depth to the rear of the back seats? Turnbuckles look secure, was that their idea?

It was ordered max width to fit between the wheel wells and depth to the rear of the second row. I used turnbuckles on my drawer in my 80 and sequoia and they work wonderful..

I did cross shop with ARB and I did not like the fit and finish on the ARB.

I don't think it matters what drawer system you have in a violent rear collision..
