well...I have driven a number of hummers with them on them. if you do not drive it alot like they do in the national guard (move your truck once a month) then they are going to be lumpy as hell. iif you drive it around more often than that you should be alright but they are still bias tires. I never had problems with traction but we never really did any extreme rock crawling with them or anything (never aired the tires down as mil vehs' have run flat systems in them.
I have caught a couple of flats in them before, once I got a small twig poked through the sidewall and I caught a peice of schrapnell sp? in a tire the twig was from a bush out in the mojave so I guess it was a tough desert stick not a weenie woods twig.
they seem to last a long time if your geometry is right so that you get even wear. the hummers seem to have alot of issues with alighnment esp in the rear end so you will see alot of those tires with weird wear patterns due to that.
I have seen the tires survive some really weird crap too. I have seen them after someone runs through c-wire in the dark and the tires survive.
and once in Iraq I hit a large bump in the road and it tossed the roll of wire we had on our hood over the side of the truck, needless to say it wrapped around both the front and rear tire before I could totally stop the weighty up-armored hummer. it took a while to get the wire off and I almost tossed the guy rideing in the back right seat out, the side the wire fell off of, when his door popped open. but the tires survived the wire.
I would give them props on toughness and wear if nothing else. I just hate the oddball rim size.
