good western movie

i think ive gone crazy and just cant get enough of the old west. so whats your favorite western movie? at the top of the list for me got to be "once upon a time in the west" and of course "the good the bad and the ugly".

Unforgiven and the Searchers with John Wayne. On tv my favorites are Rifleman and the Big Valley. Drives my wife nuts.

Silverado is great. Tombstone is also good. A classic is The Man From Snowy River. Love the lonesome dove series but it is starting to feel a bit dated.

One of my favorites and always will be. Dramatic with some humor. A lot of good actors and actresses. Very good backdrops, scene choices. Really instills the drive of the "real old west".

tombestone got to be one of the best 90's shows.


for today, django unchained is simply awesome. perhaps a bit too much catchup but i have watched it sevral times.

for sure... watch deadwood.. very good, but it ends after 3 seasons, cancelled with out and ending.

also.. try a space western, "Firefly", not really a western , but sort of.
