Good runing daily driver FJ62 in PA $1500

Selling an 88 FJ62 in northeast PA. This is a reliable truck, I have had it for a few months, fixed some minor items on it and have been just plain driving it. Had some rust that the previous owner fixed half-assed but doesn't look bad. This thing is PA inspected until November of 2007 and also passed smog at the same time. Glass is all good, body not bad looking. Mileage 270K!!!!! But- engine starts right away, idles perfectly, and runs strong. Transmission shifts perfectly and doesn not slip at all. Axles are fine 4WD works fine. Has Aisin hubs up front, fairly new brakes, new Toyota wiper arms and alternator/water pump and power steering belts. Water pump looks to have been replaced sometime recently. Previous owner told me the AC worked fine but I haven't tried it. Rear seat heater works fine. All power features work- power mirrors both sides, power windows, power door locks (except for pass rear). Has a stock AM/FM/cassette steroe that plays quite well and sounds pretty good. All gauges work as do wipers both front and back on lo/hi/and intermittent. All lights work, dash is nice. Interior pretty decent, too. Heater works but doesn't throw foot-burning heat- I think it might need a thermostat as the temp gauge doesn't climb too high. Digital clock works and has stopwatch and alrm features. Console and seat belts in good shape, rear seat has headrests. Gray with gray interior. Interior dome lights work, too. Power steering works fine, exhaust is tight and recently had parts from cat back replaced. Tires have good tread and are mounted on stock chrome wheels. There's an engine oil leak but I haven't had to add oil yet. This truck is original and unmolested and basically a turn key get behind the wheel and drive vehicle. Not sold yet

Bump, tentative buyer apparently has backed out. In any even the 62 is still available. I did mount on it a set of four like new 31 x 10.50 BFG Long Trail tires on nice stock chrome wheels. This is a good running truck, unlike one I drove recently- the check engine light never comes on, get in this truck on the coldest day it fires right up and you can drive away immediately. I went and looked at the truck last Tuesday (I'm guessing I'm the guy that never got back to him). It's a great truck, everything works...power windows, power mirrors and the A/C blows cold. Truck runs good and Gary has next to new tires on it. It's worth every bit of $1500. I would have bought it but after my wife pointed out that I have too many god damn cruisers now I decieded to buy wheels and tires for my 40 instead.

I'm really surprised the cruiser hasn't been sold yet. Drove it to work Tuesday, had to lend my tow dolly to a friend, and the truck worked fine, 35 miles each way. The wiring for the trailer hookup even works fine. $1500 for what has been a dependable truck the 1000 miles or so I've driven it. It has some rust issues that the previous owner cosmetically repaired but it starts every time and everything works- even the rear window defroster. Shmukster
 
bump again ; these 62 needs a good home!; if I didn't have to replace/rebuild a 2F would be on it like white on rice!..........Gary is a class act.......just works somew godawful hours!

i'm new here, and unfortunately cruiser less :crybaby: but i sure hope when my house sells to find a deal like this!
